The Music Technology Lab (MTL) provides students with the contemporary tools used to create and produce music and multimedia. Core classes in music technology are taught in the lab to provide hands-on experience with the latest software and hardware tools.
With this facility, you will be able to compile a portfolio of your projects and performances while at UNLV and create media for archival and reference purposes. The lab provides you with the opportunity to experience these tools and discover your individual potential and needs in those areas.

Faculty teaching classes in the lab are Gil Kaupp, Chuck Foley, and Paul Bordenkircher. A lab monitor is on staff during lab hours to monitor and assist with technical questions and ongoing projects.
