String Program

The string program at UNLV is quickly developing under the guidance of Andrew Smith, cello, and Byron Tauchi, violin. There is a strong concentration in ensemble playing as well as in building solid technique. Students perform regularly in the performance groups and there are many performance opportunites in the community for small chamber ensembles.
